I’d love to see a bunny represent Somniphobia, a fear of sleep: Due to nightmares, ptsd, cptsd, sleep paralysis, fear of death, etc. It’s exhausting and draining and makes you look and feel terrible. I would love to see a bunny represent this please. Tired looking, bags under the eyes, teary, perhaps holding a coffee? Maybe Zzzs with lines through or a lightbulb/tv/other distraction on the chest, or a static effect on the ears? Maybe nail marks on the skin for when you pinch yourself awake, or lightning around the heart for chest pain/panic attacks/shortness of breath?
How about a sleepy yet confused bunny for long term anesthesia effects? Or could also double for brain fog?
-a light misty gray with clouds on the ears. One eye asleep the other a question mark (?) or cloud eyes. For the anesthesia idea have a removable oxygen mask and a hospital gown. For brain fog have a big cloud attachment for the head.
-Different combination bunnies of illnesses that go hand in hand. i.e. Fibromyalgia+Chronic Fatigue Syndrome+IBD+Chronic Pain.
- A medical "hot mess" bunny.
-base color would be neutral and have different color ribbons all over it to represent different combinations. A slightly embarrassed face like this 😅 and an I.V. attached or different color pill bottles. A bunch of surgery scars all over or just a bunch of bandaids or steri-strips. A little warrior headband.
Both my sister and I suffer from a bunch of medical diagnoses all at the same time and I'm sure others do as well. My sister has had 60 surgeries in 15 years and I've had upwards of 20. My dad also suffers from a bunch too. I definitely plan on getting a bunny for each of my issues but a cute little "medical hot mess" bunny would be funny and cute 🥰 I have just now discovered these and I think they're amazing and it's fantastic that there's so many different ones to represent so many health conditions and I'm so appreciative that there's invisible ones are included as well. Thank you so much and fight on warriors!
P.s. sorry if this is repeated my internet kept glitching when I tried to update my previous post.
Hey, new here! I absolutely love these and they make me so happy that there are so many different Bunnies and friends that represent so many disabilities and different abilities out there. Would it be possible to make a “got a heck of a lot going on” health bunny? Both my sister and I, as I’m sure others as well, have very complex medical issues going on all at the same time and a “health hot mess” bunny would be amazing. Not only funny but just one to represent all the warriors out there fighting through a medical hot mess 💕 I think that these plushies are genius and I’m already planning to get a bunch of them for all of my individual diagnoses. Fight on warriors!
- Maybe a neutral base color with a bunch of national symbols for different health issues? Or maybe different color ribbons or polka dots all over of nationally recognized ribbon colors? And maybe different combinations of ribbons that tend to be associated with each other like Fibromyalgia+ IBD+ Chronic Fatigue+ PTSD or whatever different combos?
- Face would have spiral eyes and wiggly mouth like this (😵💫) and little stress animations on the forehead. Or a slightly embarrassed smile (😅)
- A bunch of surgery scars all over
- A little warrior headband and a maybe some pill bottle accessories or an I.V.
An attachment disorder bunny… I love bunnies so much and that disorder haunts me everyday and having a plushie like that would heal me just a little bit by hugging it during stressed times. I would buy one in a heartbeat!
I know there is already a body dysmorphia bunny/ bunny idea, but having an eating disorder specific bunny like the ARFID bunny would be cool. Specifically for people who have anorexia and bullemia, who often have bodies that look different or have long lasting effects of their disorder
a Long Covid/Covid awareness bunny please. Colors probably gray/black/teal/white, and some features to represent the different symptoms like fatigue, cognitive issues, smell/taste loss, insomnia, PEM. Also maybe something to represent the lack of awareness/patients being heard as well as the lack of knowledge about the disease to represent how scary/tiring that can feel over time of not getting better.
i think a pathological demand avoidance plushie would be really interesting to see. i definitely don’t have a full idea, and i think a lot of input from the community would be needed. however, i do have a few jumping off points. pandas are commonly seen used in the PDA community (though that is partially due to some crossover with another disorder called PANDAS). i have also seen some PDAers identify with butterflies. i think weighted legs or limbs could help to represent the weight of demands and how sometimes it can feel difficult to physically move your body to complete demands. some type of mask not only to represent masking, but also to represent the silly, performative roles we can take on to avoid demands. i also think some type of chain imagery could be cool, similar to the ptsd bunny. PDA is often described as a “persistent drive for autonomy” or an “anxiety-driven need for control”. we tend to feel restricted by others, and often ourselves, while also lacking control over ourselves.
I think you should do Aphasia inspired bunny cause I suffer from which is not knowing how to say and read and write long words which is very difficult for me and I know others have too so some people would understand and some would laugh its pretty hard when you have to do exams and other subjects because sometimes there would be long words and I would struggle with them most times.and maybe you should also do eating disorders too cause I do suffer from anorexia nervosa and it isnt very nice either since I always worry about weight and its pretty hard to talk about it with people but I do want people to understand that there are people suffering from many stuff and that is not funny at all.
Regarding LGBT people, I think a transmasculine plush would be cool, because I am a trans man and I think these plush toys that represent people from the LGBT community are cool.
